MEGAN'S STORY
Once upon a time, there was a girl from Minnesota that spent her time sitting in horse pastures teaching herself how to use her camera. She competed in local hunter/jumper and dressage shows and loved her pony more than anything. Photography was her passion and horses were her muse.
Hi, I’m Megan! It doesn’t feel like so long ago I was that budding photographer learning how to compose great images and dreaming of starting her own business. Flash forward to today, I am a U.S.-based, equestrian media professional, specializing in coverage of premier hunter/jumper events and boutique branding services. My degree in entrepreneurship gives me a unique edge combining business sense and my creative eye.
BEHIND THE LENS
Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time in the saddle as possible. After my years competing on the riding team during college, I embraced becoming an adult amateur. I am eager to get back into the show ring sometime soon, but in the meantime I continue to dote on my two trail horses, Django and Jackson (pictured above), that I share with my family at home in Minnesota.
