MEGAN'S STORY
Once upon a time, there was a girl from Minnesota that spent her time sitting in horse pastures teaching herself how to use her camera. She competed in local hunter and dressage shows and loved her pony more than anything. Photography was her passion and horses were her muse.
Hi, I’m Megan! It doesn’t feel like so long ago I was that budding photographer learning how to compose great images and dreaming of starting her own business. Flash forward to today, I am a U.S.-based, equestrian media professional, specializing in coverage of premier hunter/jumper events and boutique branding services. My specialty in entrepreneurship and marketing strategy gives me a unique edge combining business sense and my creative eye.
BEHIND THE LENS
Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time in the saddle as possible. After my years competing on Iowa State's collegiate riding team, I embraced becoming an adult amateur. I am eager to get back into the show ring sometime soon, but in the meantime I continue to dote on my two special boys, Django and Jackson, that I share with my family at home in Minnesota.
